Is a repair estimate the same as an expert report?
A repair estimate itemizes the cost to repair or complete the identified work. A detailed expert report provides written analysis, supporting documentation, assumptions, and professional opinions. The report is scoped and billed separately at $200 per hour.
What does documentation review include?
Case review can include contracts, photographs, invoices, and other case records. Attorney meetings and preparation for deposition or court testimony are billed at $200 per hour. A formal written expert report is a separate service.
Does testimony pricing include preparation or travel?
Preparation and travel are billed separately. Deposition testimony has a two-hour minimum of $500. A $1,000 court day includes up to 8 hours of attendance and testimony, including on-site waiting. Additional court time is $150 per hour.
